Privacy Policy

Your information & our storefront

Shopping for the right tech accessory sometimes involves more than a checkout. We want you to know which details help us fulfill your order, answer device-compatibility questions, and resolve product issues—and which details you do not need to send us.

This notice describes how NOVIXOGEAR handles personal information in connection with browsing, orders, delivery, product support, and other storefront interactions. Our collection includes USB-C hubs, docking stations, charging accessories, cables, computer peripherals, storage enclosures, and selected multipacks. The information relevant to each interaction is different.

Some functions rely on payment, logistics, hosting, or other service providers. The precise information processed by these services depends on the checkout method, website features, and delivery destination involved.

Information connected with your visit

When you view product listings, compare specifications, navigate categories, or move through checkout, the website and its service providers may process technical records needed for site operation and performance. These can include the IP address associated with your connection, approximate region, browser and device type, operating system, pages requested, timestamps, referral information, and indicators of errors or unusual traffic.

These records help deliver pages correctly, maintain shopping-cart functions, investigate failed page loads, detect suspicious requests, and understand where visitors encounter usability problems. Technical records do not, by themselves, tell us the exact laptop, charger, monitor, or storage drive you own.

We may also receive information about language, currency, or display preferences when those options are available, so the storefront can present relevant information during a session.

02 /

Details needed to complete an order

Placing an order generally involves information necessary to identify the purchase, communicate with you, and arrange delivery. Depending on the checkout process, this may include your name, email address, shipping and billing details, phone number if supplied, product selections, quantities, chosen configurations, shipping option, order value, taxes or charges presented at checkout, and order status.

For products sold in packs, order records may identify the listed pack size and number of packs purchased. This matters when checking whether a shipment contains the correct quantity of cables, adapters, or other accessories. For configurable products, we may record the selected interface type, color, model option, or variant rather than assuming that all versions are interchangeable.

We use order information to confirm purchases, coordinate picking and packing, communicate fulfillment updates, answer questions about incorrect or missing items, and reconcile refunds where applicable.

Payment card entry takes place through the payment options made available at checkout. You should never email us a complete payment card number, card security code, online banking password, or one-time authentication code.

03 /

Payment and transaction records

Payment services may process the details needed to authorize, verify, settle, or refund a transaction. NOVIXOGEAR may receive transaction outcomes, payment-method descriptors, reference identifiers, billing-related information, and risk or verification results provided by the relevant processor.

These records can help us identify a paid order, review a duplicate charge, investigate a failed payment, or match a refund to its original transaction. The payment provider's own data handling may also apply to information you provide directly to it.

If a payment is disputed or flagged for review, information related to the order, shipment, and correspondence may be used to establish what happened and respond through the applicable payment channel.

Product advice and compatibility conversations

Tech accessory questions can be specific. A customer asking about a USB-C docking station may tell us a laptop model, operating system version, monitor connection, or desired display output. Someone checking a charger may mention the device's charging requirements. For an SSD enclosure, the question may involve the drive form factor or interface standard.

When you voluntarily supply these details, we use them to understand the request and provide more relevant assistance. We may keep the message and related order reference so that a follow-up does not require you to explain the same technical setup again.

Please send only the device information necessary for your question. We do not need your device unlock code, account password, complete serial-number history, private documents, or the contents of a storage drive to discuss ordinary compatibility.

Photos, screenshots, and diagnostic information

If you share a photo of a connector, packaging label, error message, or damaged component, the image may reveal additional details such as a device identifier, your surroundings, or another application on your screen. Review attachments before sending them and obscure unrelated personal information.

If an issue cannot be resolved from the description alone, we may ask for more relevant information rather than requesting unrestricted access to a device.

05 /

Delivery, missing parts, and returns

Shipment fulfillment may require providing a carrier or fulfillment partner with the recipient's name, delivery address, contact details where needed, package information, and shipment reference. Tracking events and delivery exceptions may be returned to us so we can help locate an order.

When you report an incomplete multipack, incorrect adapter, damaged charger, or non-working accessory, we may use your purchase record together with photographs, descriptions, troubleshooting notes, return status, and any agreed resolution. This helps distinguish shipping damage from a wrong variant, missing component, or compatibility concern.

For a return involving storage accessories, remove personal files and any storage media that was not included in the original purchase. If a returned product is capable of storing data, you are encouraged to back up and erase personal information before sending it back, where technically possible.

We do not need to inspect the contents of your personal files to process a routine return request for an enclosure or cable.

06 /

Cookies and storefront functions

Cookies and related browser storage may support practical shopping features, including maintaining a cart, remembering a session, preserving certain checkout steps, or retaining selected display preferences. Without some of these technologies, a cart may not persist between page views or a checkout process may not function as intended.

Other technologies may be used to evaluate page performance, understand which product information visitors find useful, or measure advertising activity if those features are enabled. The categories and providers involved can change as storefront services are configured.

Your browser may allow you to delete stored cookies, block certain categories, or limit tracking. Available website-level consent or preference controls, where provided, should also be used to express applicable choices. Disabling essential storage can interfere with core shopping functions.

07 /

Analytics, search, and product discovery

Storefront performance information can help us identify confusing navigation, broken links, slow product pages, or searches that do not lead shoppers to the right accessories. For example, aggregate patterns may show that visitors frequently compare USB-C hub specifications or look for specific charging connector types.

Depending on the services enabled, analytics may process interaction data, page addresses, approximate location, device characteristics, and referral or campaign information. We may use the results to improve product organization, explanatory content, page usability, and the checkout experience.

Analytics insights are not the same as technical verification that an accessory will work with a particular customer's device. For that purpose, relevant product specifications and customer-provided compatibility details matter more than browsing patterns.

08 /

Messages and promotional preferences

Operational messages may include order confirmations, payment or shipment updates, responses to support inquiries, and information about a return or refund. These communications are tied to providing the service you requested.

Separate promotional communications, where offered, may include new accessory collections, product announcements, or relevant offers. Marketing communications are handled subject to applicable requirements and the preferences or permissions associated with the communication channel.

If you receive optional promotional emails, use the unsubscribe method provided in the message where available, or contact us for assistance. Opting out of marketing does not necessarily stop transactional messages about an active order.

09 /

Who may receive relevant information

Operating an online electronics storefront can involve several specialist services. We may provide relevant information to payment providers, website hosting and security services, fulfillment facilities, shipping carriers, communication platforms, customer support systems, and analytics or marketing providers where those services are used.

Different recipients need different information. A carrier generally needs delivery details rather than the technical history of a docking-station troubleshooting conversation. A payment processor may require transaction information but does not need unrelated photographs of a customer's desktop setup. A support provider may need the message history needed to help resolve a case.

Information may also be disclosed in response to an applicable legal requirement, a valid official request, or a need to investigate fraud, protect customers, or defend a legitimate claim. We do not treat ordinary support communications as public reviews or publish customer-submitted photographs simply because they were sent to us.

10 /

Security, access, and practical safeguards

Personal information may be protected through a combination of access controls, service-provider protections, security monitoring, and operational procedures suited to the relevant systems. The precise safeguards vary between checkout, order management, customer communications, and other services.

No internet-based system can guarantee absolute protection. Customers can reduce avoidable risk by using secure payment flows, checking the address of the site before entering account details, and not sharing passwords or verification codes with anyone claiming to offer product support.

For technical support, send a description of the problem rather than sensitive files. If a screenshot includes private messages, contact lists, access tokens, or unrelated account information, redact it first.

11 /

How long information may be kept

Different records are useful for different periods. An abandoned browsing session may not need to be kept on the same basis as a completed order. Purchase and refund records may be needed for transaction reconciliation, accounting, disputes, or legal obligations. Support messages may be retained while an issue is active and for a reasonable period afterward to preserve its resolution history.

Technical logs may be retained for security analysis or troubleshooting according to the systems involved. Marketing preferences may be retained as needed to honor opt-out requests and prevent unwanted repeat subscriptions.

When information is no longer needed for the relevant purpose, it may be deleted, anonymized, or handled according to applicable record-retention requirements and the controls offered by service providers. We do not promise a single fixed deletion date for every kind of record.

12 /

International orders and data processing

Customers may shop from different countries, while payment platforms, carriers, website infrastructure, or support services may process information in other locations. Information can therefore be transferred or accessed across borders as part of providing the requested service.

Where cross-border processing is subject to specific legal safeguards, the applicable requirements depend on the locations, data categories, and service arrangements involved. Import and customs processes may also require shipping-related information for a particular destination.

We aim to share only information relevant to the service at issue, rather than sending a complete customer history to every delivery or technology provider.

13 /

Your choices and privacy requests

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to certain personal information, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, restriction of particular processing, a copy of information, or objection to certain uses. You may also have choices related to consent or advertising technologies.

To make a request, email [email protected] and describe what you would like us to review. Include enough information to identify the relevant order or support interaction, but do not include passwords or full payment credentials.

We may need to verify that the request comes from the person entitled to the information. Some records may need to be retained for transaction, security, dispute, or legal reasons even when deletion is requested. We will assess requests in light of applicable requirements and the information available to us.

Browser privacy signals

Browsers and devices may offer cookie controls, tracking settings, or privacy preference signals. Their effect depends on the specific signal, the services operating on the storefront, and the legal obligations that apply. A general Do Not Track setting may not be handled in the same manner as a legally recognized opt-out preference signal.

14 /

Information about other people and younger users

If you buy an accessory for someone else or send a gift to another address, you may provide delivery information about the recipient. Please share only details necessary to deliver the order and ensure that the recipient information is accurate.

Our electronics and accessories storefront is intended for ordinary consumer shopping and is not designed as a service directed specifically to children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information in a way that requires review, contact us so that we can assess the concern.

Support attachments should also avoid exposing another person's information unnecessarily, such as a coworker's email notifications visible in a monitor screenshot.

15 /

Policy updates and questions

As our assortment, checkout options, shipping arrangements, and support processes develop, this notice may be revised to explain material changes to how customer information is handled. Updated wording will be made available on this page, and additional notice may be provided where required.

If a product inquiry involves specific personal information—for example, an order record, a troubleshooting screenshot, or a shipment dispute—tell us which interaction you are asking about. That context helps us locate the relevant records without asking you to disclose unnecessary information.
